Over the recent past, new technologies have increased the demand for high current power capacitors with high reliability and condensed size. EFC has designed a series of Snubber / Power Capacitors specifically for these requirements.

With design requirements of low inductance and power consumption, high peak/RMS currents and good frequency response, the dielectric of choice is obviously polypropylene.

MF, M - Dual metallized carriers allow these capacitors to handle high amperage and pulsing currents.
SP - Low ESR and high current rating, designed for Switch Mode Power Supply.
PC - Low inductance, high current rating, with slotted terminals designed to screw directly to IGBT
